History
We relocated to our new office building in Stow, OH on November 30, 2005 from Cuyahoga Falls, OH. Our branch of Fairway was
opened in November, 1999 by brothers Brian and Mark Thomas. In 2008, the
branch expanded to include an office in Salem, OH to cover Columbiana and
Mahoning counties and an office in St. John, IN covering communities in Northwest Indiana's and Chicago’s south suburbs.
The Fairway Team in Stow is pleased
to be a part of the nationwide family that makes up Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation.
FIMC is headquartered in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin and is celebrating almost
15 years of growth.
Founded in 1996 by Steve Jacobson and Dean Anderson, Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation now has
90 branches and more than 1,000 employees nationwide! Lending volume for Fairway
Independent Mortgage Corporation has increased progressively from $1 billion in 2001 to $3.94 billion in 2010.
We are on track to do even better in 2011.
Being part of a larger organization provides us with the systems and the culture needed to grow in the residential mortgage finance industry. Branch offices, like ours, operate autonomously for day-to-day operations but follow established corporate guidelines while benefiting from economies of scale through support in the areas of personnel, accounting,
compliance and technology. Because of this, we are able to offer the reliability of a large company and the friendly, personal touch of a locally owned business.
